0:10 I don't really like the bass. Just seemed like it's tacked on top sorta. If u know what i mean.

I'm sorry to sound negative, but I don't get the point of this track. It's a little annoying, actually. And what does it have to do with Island Rap? It doesn't loop properly either. But I guess I should give you a few pointers.

If you make the bass cohere more with the melody, then you've got a better sounding track. If you make it less repetitive, it would sound better. If you add bongoes, it probably won't sound any better, but it's worth a try. Just to add some sort of variety in the song, instead of the same tune over and over again. I want to listen to something that I can listen to on repeat and not have to jump out of the nearest window. Maddening, it is. But nice try. Just a few pointers.

Overall, you can do better. I know it. There's a lot of potential. But even though you may like this, I really did not. But I'll keep an eye on you anyway. Good luck!

1:15 the "elska livet livet livet" gets a bit annoying... maybe stop it a bit? now?

1:50 i would have liked the break to go on longer... so it's not so intense all the time
2:15 sort of sounds like he's saying "health care... leave it." :)

hey thanks, by far the most useful review i´ve ever got! :D yeah it´s a bit repetetive, it´s an old song i finished :P "elska livet" is actually spelled älska livet and means "love life" in swedish =) it´s sort of a mantra i needed back then :P

Really liked it

It's pretty cool sounding... I like the synth's melody. The drums are very cool. The bass is well done too... gets repetitive but not annoying, i would like to see more tho... 8/10

p.s. actually does the melody change? i can't even tell... anyways i liked it

It actualy does, but its the same instrument. I know its pretty repetitive, but like i said. I had this melody but nothing fit with it, so i just made it into a loop. It also means that i wont make this into a full songs though.
Well, maybe i will, but not anytime soon.

its not meant for high volume. Turn it down. And its not supposed to be NES, that is why the drums are real. The drums had a bitcrusher, but the only thing crushed was the quality. I for one actually thought this was a nice piece and it looped well in itunes and garageband

Yeah, listening to it again i hear the arcade synth getting a little whiny. Thanks for the review, I'll customize it next time

Didn't really connect with the song

It sounded a little bit like noise to me to be honest... sorry but it did. It's because I can't really hear the melody. But if there was less ambiguity and/or effects maybe? I'm not quite sure with this one, but wasn't very catchy.

Very professional, I must say, the instruments go well together and feels very fitting. But the melody seems a bit jilted at places, which kind of puts me off. I would have liked to see a more climactic ending, more of a sense of closure. Other than that, great: I give it an 8 out of 10. Thanks for letting me listen. :)
